Switzerland’s Yellow Winterthur advanced to the third round with an overwhelming aggregate victory, setting the record for the most points scored in a single game in the second round of the EHF Women’s Handball European Cup.

Yellow Vinter Tour defeated home team KHF Shqiponja (Kosovo) 48-29 in the second round of the 2025/26 EHF European Cup at Shani Nushi Sports Hall in Jacobe, Kosovo on the 4th (local time).

The 48 goals scored by the Yellow Vinter Tour on this day are the highest score in the second round of the European Cup. The Vinter Tour, which had already won the home game 38-23 in the first round, also secured a great victory in the second round, confirming its advance to the third round with a final aggregate score of 86-52 and a whopping 34 goals.

In particular, Vinter Tour’s shot success rate was an impressive 89%. VASIC Mina scored eight goals, SKORICova Petra scored seven, Oliveira de Almeida Stephania Rayanne, KIKANOVIC Selma, MöSSNER Jessica, and Abramowicz Aleksandra scored five goals each, boasting explosive attacks.

Matthias Müller, team leader and co-chairman of the Yellow Vinter Tour, expressed satisfaction on the club’s website, saying, “All the players participated, and their teamwork is getting better and better,” and evaluated, “Today’s game was a great performance.”

The win marks the third time the Yellow Vinter Tour has made it through the first round in its ninth European Cup season, with a combined score of 86-52 being the biggest margin of victory in the European Cup in the club’s history.
