What sets this apart is that it’s honest and not a paid advert, like most articles glorifying retirement here are.
And I seriously can’t see what the ROI is in inviting old people to retire here when it’s not like we can profit from medical tourism given that they will probably just make use of the public system anyway (and the public system is overloaded).
retired people like the sun and the sea. only 1 small problem; large part of malta’s coastline was a broth of fish farm waste mixed with machine oil from some secret spill. topped off with the occasional sewer spill
