A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The Memorandum was signed by Ali Naghiyev, Ali Naghiyev, Chairman of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chief of the State Security Service, and Marko Jurišić, Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Note that the Memorandum was signed at the international conference themed “Uniting efforts and enhancing cooperation for addressing the issue of missing persons,” held within the framework of the Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons.

“Considering that it will be effective in determining the directions of bilateral cooperation with the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina and clarifying the fate of missing persons, a delegation of the State Commission visited Sarajevo in April 2025 to discuss a draft Memorandum of Understanding. During the visit, a draft Memorandum of Understanding was discussed and agreed upon. Today we will sign that Memorandum with your participation,” he emphasized.
