Bosnia and Herzegovina holds everything in its hands when it comes to second place in the World Cup qualifying group, but tonight it took a step back in the fight for the number one position.

The “Dragons” drew in Cyprus (2:2) even though they were leading 2:0 after 36 minutes thanks to a goal by Katić and an own goal by Mihailo.

The home team reduced the deficit in stoppage time of the first half through Laifis, and then avoided defeat in the 96th minute – Pitas converted a penalty.

BiH is now two points behind group leader Austria, which has a maximum of five wins.

The last in a row was against San Marino – it was 10:0. Four goals were scored by Red Star striker Marko Arnautović.

Denmark was dominant in Group C in Belarus (6:0) and after three rounds has seven points and a goal difference of 9:0.

Viktor Froholt started the game for the Belarusians, Rasmus Hoylund scored twice, and Manchester United player Patrik Dorgu also scored.

The final score was set by Anders Drejer, who scored in the 66th and 78th minutes.

Scotland is also in that group with seven points, having beaten Greece 3-1 after a comeback.

Kostas Tsimikas gave the Greeks the lead, with Ryan Christie, Liam Ferguson and Lyndon Dykes securing the home team’s triumph.

In Montenegro’s group, there was no winner in the derby between the Czech Republic and Croatia in Prague – 0:0.
