Families in Spokane and North Idaho can sign up to receive a free holiday meal through this year’s KREM Cares Tom’s Turkey Drive. Distribution will take place at multiple locations throughout the region during November, with sign-ups opening Monday, November 3, at 9 a.m.
This year, organizers aim to provide 8,500 meal boxes, each including a turkey, fresh potatoes, Franz rolls, Franz stuffing, milk, canned vegetables, and a gravy packet.
To register, families must sign up in advance. Those who encounter difficulties during the sign-up process are encouraged to contact Second Harvest at info@2-harvest.org or call (509) 534-6678 for assistance.
The annual drive is designed to ensure families in need have the ingredients for a traditional holiday meal, providing both nourishment and holiday cheer.
