BRONX, NY —The Fordham volleyball team fell to the George Washington Revolutionaries 3-0 (21-25, 25-27, 18-25) Saturday at home at Rose Hill Gym.

The loss dropped Fordham’s record to 7-9 overall and 1-5 in Atlantic 10 play.

Audrey Brown finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Rams attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .269. got seven digs from Ozge Ozaslan to lead them defensively.

How It Happened

SET 1 | The Rams fell in a back-and-forth first set, losing 25-21 in a game that featured four lead changes and was tied nine times. Neither team led by more than four points in the match.

SET 2 | Fordham fell in set two 27-25, digging a 2-0 hole in the match. Despite holding the lead down the stretch, the Rams fell in a close second set, losing in a stanza that was tied seven times and had two lead changes, as the Revolutionaries rallied back late.

SET 3 | George Washington finished the sweep with a third-set win, as the Rams dropped a tough set 25-18. Fordham trailed by as many as seven points before battling back, though George Washington grabbed the advantage for good at 5-4 in a set that was knotted up four times before the Revolutionaries took over the lead.

The Rams and Revolutionaries conclude the weekend series tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. from the Rose Hill Gym.
