      South Atlantic Anomaly. In an odd coincidence (maybe), it’s where the north and south poles are headed.

      I mean the waking of the magnetic field is expected, the rate at which it is happening is the concerning part. There could be a pole reversal on the way. That could be anywhere from tomorrow to thousands of years from now though.
