Astana. October 13. KazTAG  –  President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev told Russian President Vladimir Putin that his upcoming visit to Russia on November 12 will be a pivotal moment in strengthening bilateral ties.
    “We attach great importance to this visit and believe it will mark a new stage in our strategic partnership and alliance,” said Tokayev.
    He added that trade between Kazakhstan and Russia reached $28 billion last year, with Russian investment totaling over $26 billion. Cultural ties are also growing, with nine Russian university branches operating in Kazakhstan, reports Akorda.

    Abibullayev appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Slovenia

    Astana. October 13. KazTAG – Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed Altay Abibullaev as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Slovenia, reports Akorda.

    “Altai  Abibullaev has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Slovenia,” the statement read.

    Furthermore, Daulet Batrashev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Croatia, has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, concurrently.

    Anuarbek Akhmetov, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Algeria, has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Tunisia, with concurrent accreditation.
