      Of course Jobcentre twats are picking on disabled people looking for any reason to sanction or brand them unreasonable.

      Good on this guy fighting it and succeeding, but this just means there are probably way more examples of this going on under the radar.

      They have been assisting the suicide of their ‘clients’ for years now in return for target bonuses.

      Never in my life have I come across such a useless bunch of box ticking drones as I have in a job centre. They aren’t there to help you find work, they’re there to make sure you aren’t screwing the system.

      Personally I think the entire system should be scrapped, anyone who doesn’t want a job is welcome to rot on £80 a week if they want.

      Unsurprising.

      I’m profoundly deaf and the job centre arranged an interview without a bsl interpreter and then tried to strongarm me into doing the interview without the interpreter.

      After forcing them to rearrange the interview they then failed to book an interpreter for that one too.

      I’m now on the third interview, I would bet everyone on here a sanction and a lottery ticket (lol I wish) that there won’t be an interpreter for that either.

      My sister is disabled, and lives with Down Syndrome. Obviously she has had this since birth (she is now in her early 40’s). She receives PIP (formerly known as Disability). For a while, she had to get a doctors note every 6 weeks to prove that she was still disabled and needed the help. As if she was (or is) going to wake up, and suddenly be ‘normal’. This was a ploy to make sure that she wasn’t playing the system. Happened then, and is still happening now. Discrimination is the name of the game, and the DWP want to make sure you are discredited.
