In the days following her elimination from Dancing with the Stars, Hilaria Baldwin has claimed that she got “bullied off the show” — as she explained in an Instagram Live posted on Sunday, October 12 — but one former Mirror Ball champion disagrees.

“As somebody who was treated like crap by the hardcore fans of the show, yeah, bullying happens. But you don’t get bullied off the show. You get kicked off the show because nobody voted for you,” Bobby Bones, 45, contended in a TikTok video posted on Monday, October 13.

The radio personality’s Season 27 win with his partner, Sharna Burgess, remains one of the most shocking upsets in the series, because the judges always gave them lower scores.

The mom of seven, 41 — who partnered with Gleb Savchenko — “was a great dancer,” Bones acknowledged, but pointed out that the fans weren’t swayed. “I don’t know her, but you got eliminated because people didn’t like you.”

“That’s the meanest fan base of anything ever — Dancing with the Stars, the hardcore fans,” Bobby Bones Show host continued. “People that vote and love the show and have a good time, you guys are cool. But the hard cores? Bad people.”
