Poland’s current account deficit widened to €3.09 billion in August 2025 from €2.02 billion a year earlier.

    The goods trade deficit increased slightly to €2.15 billion as exports slipped to €24.99 billion from €25.35 billion and imports declined to €27.14 billion from €27.46 billion.

    The services surplus narrowed to €3.16 billion from €3.38 billion, while the primary income gap widened sharply to €3.89 billion from €2.95 billion.

    Meanwhile, the secondary income deficit narrowed to €210 million from €338 million.
