The President of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), Armand Duka, has praised the Kosovo National Team after the positive results in these qualifiers and according to him, the Dardanians deserve to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
Kosovo have shown good form recently, beating Sweden in Pristina, drawing with Slovenia in the capital and winning again against the Scandinavians on the road.
These 7 points from the last three matches have raised hopes for Kosovo’s qualification for the World Cup and everyone is already making calculations for the remaining two matches.
According to the head of the Albanian Football Association, Duka, Kosovo has quality footballers and deserves to be part of the 2026 World Cup.
“Kosovo has a very good squad. They have very high-quality players and it’s no surprise that they won these two matches,” Duka initially told Euronews Albania.
“I said it at the beginning, it’s not like there’s much difference. I deserve it, I super-deserve the victory in the first match in Pristina, I deserve it last night too and I deserve to be part of the World Championship.”
“Two national teams in the play-offs? Fantastic. If we manage to support two, but even if we have one, we will still be happy,” concluded the head of the Albanian Football Association. /Telegraph/
