The Central Election Commission has announced that the process of evaluating packages with ballots from voting outside Kosovo is continuing with intensity. As of Thursday at 16:00, over 32,000 packages sent by mail from voters abroad have been evaluated.

According to official data, over 28,200 packages have been approved, while around 2,700 have been rejected, mainly due to the lack of a registration certificate, the unique document that the CEC sends to registered voters to guarantee the validity of their vote.

The process of withdrawing the packages was concluded on Tuesday, through 23 mailboxes distributed in 22 countries and in Kosovo, from which a total of 33,841 packages of alleged ballots were withdrawn. Some of these packages have already been brought to Kosovo and are in the verification phase.

At the end of the evaluation process, the CEC will publish data on the final number of approved packages, which will then be counted at the Counting and Results Center (CRC).
