  1. Edit:  Germany imported over 60 percent of its power in 2021, and this graph shows production, not consumption.  It seems deeply misleading.

    Would be interested to see this normalized to KWh per capita.

    Of course the US uses more electricity than Germany, we have many times the population.

    Of course China uses more electricity than the US, it has many times the population.

    Of course China’s electricity demands are increasing, they are electrifying and industrializing many decades after the US and Germany did.
