And isn’t that a crazy paragraph. “Just” 2.9% were born outside the UK, that’s “just” ~1/35 people. That’s insane, and it’ll likely be higher now.

Feeling safe may be related to but is conceptually distinct from being safe.
What I would like to know is whether there is objective evidence to show that one’s safety has actually reduced in the past year due to the colour of one’s skin.
