      The various threads on this on the football subs have suggested United do not have enough office space to implement a return to working at the office as it stands.

      Sounds to me like there’s going to be a bunch of constructive dismissal claims against Man U.

      Especially if the staff started in the pandemic and their listed place of work is actually their home.

      Unless it’s impossible to commute to the office now, nobody should take this offer. A bonus that can be worth up to a low end of 4 figures is paltry in comparison to a redundancy payout for a lot of staff and they know it.

      Sounds like a quick and cheap way to try and get rid of people stupid enough to take this ‘offer’. I hope they tell him to jog on and force him to pay a redundancy package.

      You’d think Manchester United would have better lawyers but just saying “it’s not voluntary redundancy” doesn’t magically exempt them from employment law.

      So during his brief tenure Jim Radcliffe has

      * Banned his employees from working from home
      * Argued that public money should be used to rebuild his crimbli stadium
      * Briefed that his manager is going to be sacked towards days before the FA Cup final
      * Started laying off his staff

      All whilst himself living in Monte Carlo for tax reasons. I suspect he might be a bit of a cunt.

      I’d love to see people like you wake up at 4am to go to work at 6am and work until 4pm

      TIL not wanting to waste money on transport, increase emissions by travelling and wanting a better work life balance means I need to grow up…

      If you’re working a desk job it makes no difference whether you sit on your ass in an office building or in your home office. One saves people money and is better for the environment the other wastes hours a day commuting that you could be spending relaxing.

      Headline is a bit misleading we only worked from home due to covid, I think its only fair to ask people to return to an office environment.
      People do take the piss working from home and I do have first hand experience of this.
      United is rotten to the core both on and off the field including its inferstructor.
      On a further note I hope it all goes tits up Y.N.W.A 😉
