    Ok so how do you refer to the country of Italy in your language (I'm talking about maltese) (this post under my title is the only reason I asked this to begin with so bear with me pls)

    Ok so how do you refer to the country of Italy in your language (I’m talking about maltese) (this post under my title is the only reason I asked this to begin with so bear with me pls)


    If i remember correctly maltese have lot of words from Italian and Arabic origin (some dude told me this so if I’m wrong feel free to correct me) and both languages calls Italy, "Italia"so do you call it Italia or something do did you get it from outside influences? (again some dude told me this)

      Not sure what that text is saying to be honest half of it seems gibberish, we refer to italy isa l-italja or italja same as they say it.

      I’m not even maltese or Italian and this popped up for me😂 but damn today I learned that Italians call Italy Italia, we learn something new every day

      i’m italian and talking with maltese people at least 40% of the words are understandable or the same as italian
