Yesterday, it was Malta’s turn to select its entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025. On Saturday night, the final of The Voice Kids Malta 2025 took place, serving as the country’s national selection. The big winner of the evening was Eliza Borg, who will represent Malta at this year’s contest.

The final was divided into two stages. In the first round, all six finalists performed their audition songs. The three coaches — Gianluca, Destiny, and Sarah — each selected one contestant from their team to advance to the superfinal.

The contestants who took part in the first round were:

  • Eliza Borg

  • Mia Lanzon

  • Rachele Maria Nistica

  • Marie Emeh Camilleri

  • Carly Cachia Arpa

  • Oliver Zammit Attard

In the second round, the three superfinalists performed both a duet with their coach and the song they intend to compete with at Junior Eurovision. The show also featured special guest performances from Dawn Desira, winner of the first season of The Voice Kids Malta, and Ramires Sciberras, Malta’s representative at Junior Eurovision 2024.

The result was determined exclusively by public voting, and the final ranking was as follows:

  1. Eliza Borg – Winner

  2. Carly Cachia Arpa

  3. Rachele Maria Nistica

Based on these results, Eliza Borg was crowned the winner of The Voice Kids Malta 2025 and will go on to represent Malta at the 23rd Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
