Spain’s Renfe has indefinitely withdrawn its new Talgo-built Avril trains from Spain’s busiest high-speed route, the Madrid–Barcelona corridor. The “very serious” incident, as Transport Minister Óscar Puente described it, comes after cracks were found in the bogies of some of the trains fleet, raising major concerns about capacity on the country’s flagship line.
