Exciting, and as everyone knows age-related macular degeneration is one of the leading causes of sight loss, so this sort of soolution is quite badly needed. Surgical interventions of this nature look to be an increasingly common component of the aging process in our increasingly silver-haired world 🙂
My mother has macular degeneration, only in one eye thankfully, but this is amazing.
I was just hearing about that on the radio. Still in trials from the sound of it, but it would be really cool if it gives some people their vision back.
