Last week, almost by chance, I discovered the series Nathan K. (the comedian was unknown to me). I make a necessary premise: as a black woman born and raised in Italy, the Italian productions with African or Afro-Italian protagonists that I have seen so far (I take as an example "Zero") had never convinced me.

Nathan K. had what it took to be the Italian answer to "Drough: Comics in Paris". I particularly appreciated the intelligent jokes, the finally non-feel-good humor and the attention to the characters. I would have happily watched an entire season, but I perceived the choice to limit it to just 2 episodes solely as a calculated and cunning marketing campaign. Too bad, a missed opportunity.

Who has seen it, what do you think?
