Issacman is obviously Musk’s choice to be compensated for space travel. It’s a taxpayer grift that benefits him. Of course he will fued with anyone who is willing to put bumps in the road. Duffy probably wants to wet his beak is all. This administration is full of sycophantic grifters.
It’s funny with musks vision it probably does belong in the DOT. At least the space travel side.
Combining it with transportation seems like a sly way to hide the budget decreases, and make it less dependent so it’s easier to grift.
Maybe but there is a bias given that Sean Duffy was also trying to find alternatives to SpaceX for the lunar landerdue to delays in Starship. It may not be a smart move but it would still create a bias for Elon
Musk is right. Sean Duffy is horrible. Maybe stop supporting the people who put Sean Duffy in that position of power.
Seemingly above all else because Duffy announced opening up the Artemis III contract which was when Musk’s Twitter crash out started for some reason.

So a horrible person is saying something pretty important and I agree with them. I feel so weird about this.
How about neither happens. Duffy sucks and Isaacman sucks too. Both are super dangerous to NASA. If private space flight can’t survive on its own merit then let it die, the time isn’t right.

Musk, the guy who had direct momentum in getting Trump elected and spent the first several months of Trump 47 orchestrating the chaos that we’re dealing with today, is suddenly mad about the consequences of his own actions. People seem to forget only a handful of months ago when Musk was standing next to Trump in the Oval Office looking like a blindly-obidient golden retriever, wearing his MAGA hat, and trying to explain to us how everything is greater than ever and America has finally been “won back.”

Republicans are trying to eliminate the federal government (except for immigration and DoD). Musk and his DOGE team were helping with that earlier this year.

The sad part is, they’re both trying to kill NASA, one is just trying to siphon the funds to his own private company.
