Pretty appropriate name it seems, they really are against humanity
Wish they had gotten more money out of him, but if they at least got SpaceX to clean up their mess, I’m fine with it. Besides, a tiny bit of that is my land!
What I don’t understand is how SpaceX put things on that land. If you look at a map [https://cameron.prodigycad.com/property-detail/173555/2024/gis](https://cameron.prodigycad.com/property-detail/173555/2024/gis) this is nowhere near the build site, launch site or the Masseys test area. It’s not like it’s right next to where they’re building something and they were careless about the boundary and assumed they owned that land too. This is miles away.
Why were SpaceX anywhere near this plot of land to put things there?
Given that the entire purpose of Cards against Humanity owning that land is to effectively use it as a spite house, this was always going to end this way.
That said, I wonder how long it’ll be before Texas or the US Government just forces a sale via eminent domain.
“Cards against humanity” really fitting name as someone else pointed out, God forbid we try to develop new tech. China doesn’t have to worry about saboteurs and enemies from within like we do in the West….
“Card game for edgy manchildren impedes advancement of space program” is basically the headline of our times.
Props to CAH. That company is awesome. They decided to cut out the middle man (game distributors) who were taking a cut from mom and pop game shops. So, they created their own distribution company called Black Box and onboarded some great indie games like Unstable Unicorns. Therefore, indie game shops got better discounts, and in turn, better margins.
