The South Bend Symphony Orchestra continues its presentation of “The Harry Potter Film Concert Series” with the third film in the “Harry Potter” franchise at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Morris Performing Arts Center, 211 N. Michigan St.

The SBSO will perform the score from “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” live while the film plays on a 40-foot screen, according to a press release.

“The Harry Potter Film Concert Series” was created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and CineConcerts. It is the only official global concert tour celebrating the “Harry Potter” films. Since its debut in 2016 with “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Concert,” the series has attracted more than 3 million fans worldwide.

“The Harry Potter film series is a once-in-a-lifetime cultural phenomenon that continues to delight millions of fans around the world,” Justin Freer, president of CineConcerts and producer/conductor of “The Harry Potter Film Concert Series,” said in the announcement. “It is with great pleasure that we bring fans for the first time ever an opportunity to experience the award winning music scores played live by a symphony orchestra, all while the beloved film is simultaneously projected onto the big screen.”

The score for “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” composed by John Williams, received an Oscar nomination. The music features soaring motifs that enhance the magical journey of the characters, the release said.

“Harry Potter is synonymous with excitement around the world and we hope that by performing this incredible music with the full movie, audiences will continue to celebrate the wizarding world,” Brady Beaubien, concert producer for the series, said in the announcement.

The movie stars stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, along with Gary Oldman, David Thewlis and Emma Thompson.

Ron Spigelman, the principal pops conductor of the Buffalo Philharmonic, will perform as guest conductor for the concerts.
