    1. This is a communications disaster but that’s the price you pay for being factional I guess

Unbelievably, she seems to now be complaining about people saying she has been barred when its hasn’t been confirmed either way.

This, despite her being the main source people have used to report as much…

    3. U turning at the outcry.

Make no mistake, the cruelty was exactly the point, when she just wanted to announce retirement on her own terms.

      Banter if she now stands.

    4. so basically Abbott was planning on retiring and Labour agreed to let her have the whip back, then people in Starmer’s office briefed the Times that she’d been barred. I saw John McTernan (Blair’s former adviser) say that this was designed to humiliate her. Incredibly horrible way to treat someone.

    5. Abbott texted the BBC earlier today that she had been barred, now she is “dismayed” about all the reports of her being barred. She’s such a fucking shambles of a person.

Odd-Shoes, Innumerate, “Yes I read the report ..but I can remember any of its 127 findings” Abbott has been the principle source of the recent stories about her being “banned” from standing. As usual, she opened her mouth without taking the trouble to verify the facts or properly inform herself. She has LOADS of “previous” for this kind of behaviour. She is providing good evidence for why she SHOULD have been banned! Whatever her achievements may have been in her earlier life, she is now a shambolic, disaster-in-waiting that the Labour Party would be better-off without.

Ah the people who lied about the assessment of Abbott comes out and say’s “trust us”

I’m not a fan of the tories , or labour, or any of the parties really, yet to see a politician that is supporting the people rather than Their own interests or the interests of corporations or hedge fund lobbyists .

Labour feels like the lesser of two evils after all this, but do people forget how badly she came across when Corbyn was running ?

She is utterly incompetent , and at the moment if she gathers enough media traction.. which the tories will capitalise on , could cost labour the election .

This is the state of current politics , labour and conservative are essentially the parent name now , when there are effectively parties within the parties that seemingly cannot work together .

This is going to turn out to be a shit show.

The press from labour and surrounding Diane Abbott has already been contradicting itself

    9. Wouldn’t be an election cycle without the Tory weapon, Dianne Abbott., Shell be across form them soon saying stupid shit instead of being hidden away for a month

    10. I mean, Labour need to win an election not pander to divisive figures within the party, stands to reason that they see her as a liability

Labour is just as much a joke as the Tories. He should stop any extremist and racist views within the party. She is a complete liability.

I honestly don’t think that Labour is much better than the tories tbh..

    13. As soon as this Abbott arsehole pops up it leaves a trail of destruction. They should just fuck her off

    14. Historical-Meteor on

Hey look the far left of the Labour Party is trying to once again stop the party from winning votes.

I swear the Corbynistas do more for the Tory Party than any other group.

The fact that people don’t even understand what’s going on and are just jumping to “she should know her place!!” is just fucking depressing.

Majority of you lot are lost causes at this point. Complete lack of nuance or critical thinking from any of yous. Just want to have your existing viewpoints validated.

    16. Quite why he bothered restoring the whip is beyond me.

Could have just left it and chosen someone else for her seat. Let her go campaign with Corbyn.
