After years of sending reports and emails, Maltapost still fails to deliver even the most basic deliveries.
I’m tired of hearing “Sorry, we’ll do better” — because they don’t.
It’s time to name and shame.
This is what Maltapost actually does with your deliveries: they pretend to deliver, without knocking, ringing the bell, or even attempting to do their job.

Name and shame is what these fuckin bastards deserve.
Last couple of years postmen and women have stopped giving a shit. I remember in the 90s they were friendly and always delivered.
When I used to live in malta the postman used to fold every letter in half to put it in my letter box. Packages were also never delivered. I had a maisonette and I had double doors. One glass one wood. I used to keep the wooden doors open so I could see outside. One time I had a package, the postman came up, looked at me, put a delivery slip in my letter box and ran back to his bike!
Thankfully the postman in nadur is amazing. If I’m not home they always call and ask if they can leave the package behind the door.
My postman is the boss. He calls me on my phone on his way to my house so that I can open the gate for him to be able to deliver when I’m not at home. I need to buy him a beer.
I mean they get paid peanuts so they dont give two shits about delivering
Obviously nasty stuff you’re showing here, but even today, Saturday, I received correspondence that was sent yesterday. Or maybe this is just how postmen work in Sliema.

I’ve been reporting and making complaints about this all the time. There is a phone number to call, but they don’t bother at all.
Deport.
I mean. I’m not normally that guy but, fuck you postman, deliver my post.
OK. Maybe don’t deport. But some sort of meaningful penalty for not doing the job they’re paid to do?
Last time I tried to make a post like this, ended up getting a call from MaltaPost themselves to remove my bad reviews… shame on them!

Tbh this is starting to happen in every country ngl. They are normalizing it for some reason 🤦♀️🤷♀️. When I lived abroad the post did the same thing as back home in Malta, not deliver the parcel just post the pick up receipt.
I think it depends on the postman..I mean some postmen do actually deliver it but most do not. :<
my postman is a great guy, he rings the doorbell and when I am not there I ask him to leave the parcel behind the door of our common area and he does (wifi intercom). If I do not answer the intercom he just calls my phone! What a great guy and he is a TCN!
Had an issue with the previous one doing the same as this guy, reported him twice over a month and did not see him again.
