The annual inflation rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina inched up to 4.2% in September 2025 from 4.1% in the previous month.

Price growth accelerated notably for housing and utilities, which jumped to 2.3% from 0.2% in August, while inflation for furnishings and household equipment also increased to 1.3% from 1.1%.

In contrast, price gains slowed for food and non-alcoholic beverages (7.8% vs 9.2%) and health services (5.9% vs 6.1%).

Meanwhile, costs continued to fall for clothing and footwear (-7.5% vs -5.7%) and transport (-0.8% vs -2.7%).

On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.2%, following a 0.2% decline in August.
