WESTLAKE, Oh. – Westlake’s Porter Public Library will host its annual Health Fair on Saturday, November 8, from 1-4 p.m., offering community members free health screenings, educational sessions, and wellness resources.
The event will feature drop-in health screenings available throughout the afternoon, with no registration required and no limit on participation.

“Health Fair screenings and some of the sessions are in our meeting room wing, which is off the lobby when you enter the library,” said Heather Feenaughty, PR/Marketing Manager at Porter Public Library.
“Patrons can just walk in and get a screening or register and attend a session.”
The library’s meeting room wing will serve as the main hub for screenings and ground-floor sessions, while two additional programs will take place in the second-floor Thomas A. Fox Boardroom.
Local health organizations will be on-site throughout the event to provide information and resources to attendees. As an added incentive, participants can enter a prize drawing.
All programs and screenings are free of charge, consistent with the library’s mission to provide no-cost programming to the community.
The library is promoting the Health Fair through multiple channels to reach as many community members as possible.
“We promote the Health Fair in our bi-monthly newsletter, we have interior promotions such as flyers, slideshow, and a banner, there are social media posts that will launch until the event, and it is featured in our weekly eNewsletter that emails to over 14,000 patrons,” Feenaughty said.
