The editorial office received a letter from a worried parent who described an incident that happened on the playground of a primary school in Maribor. A group of minors, around 12 years old, were allegedly attacked by a group of Roma, who bullied and insulted the children and demanded money from them while playing basketball. According to the statement of the worried mother, the child did not want to be humiliated, so the group beat and physically injured him.

The incident was reported to the police, and concerned parents are calling on the authorities to strengthen the safety of children, implement preventive measures and provide support to victims of violence.
