  1. Attempted murder is notoriously hard to prove. GBH with intent is easier and can still in theory get a life sentence.

  2. Ofc the daily mail is trying to stoke hatred by having his nationality front and centre instead of the fact that he’s homeless and extremely mentally ill

    Pieces of shit

The judge thinks stabbing someone 11 times isn’t attempted murder…

    Seriously!

When you stab someone, aren’t you either attempting to kill them or taking a chance that you’ll kill them? Whatever you call the crime, the person doing this surely knows very well that it could kill? Society has gone mad even wanting to keep these kinds of deranged lunatics around, let alone all the fuss about what to call the crime

Sorry mate, he ain’t coloured enough for me to care. /s

Also what a horrible man, stabbing a literal child 8 times. I understand attempted murder can be hard to prove in court but holding her in headlock and stabbing not once-twice but eight can surely be taken as attempted murder?

  6. In other words he’s been charged with the crime that makes a conviction more likely. Not that the headline wants to realise this though

Holy shit I know this guy! I haven’t seen him in years. This guy was fucking unstable as fuck. I’m almost certain police were called on his multiple times and they did fuck all. I used to live in Murray grove and I’m CERTAIN that’s the same guy. He has a few other ‘homeless’ mates with him. He is definitely not homeless cause he used to stay in a trap house below me.

Slap on the wrist and community order incoming

I doubt jail, likely mental institution (they haven’t close all mental health services yet have they? Just massively unfeefunded and crippled system still?) for x years and then community order

The real question is why such a person is in this country and attacking our kids, and now being spent money on to keep here? If its a farcical “sentence” as I suspect, why not just exile or deport him? Give the money saved to the victim or on mental health services / homelessness etc

Why the fuck was a psycho Romanian allowed in the UK?

There’s enough British psychopaths as it is.

  11. >’The decision to accept a guilty plea to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm was taken after carefully reviewing evidence provided by two separate expert psychiatrists.

    >’The impact of the expert evidence meant that we could not prove that Pintaru specifically intended to kill, which is an essential element of an attempted murder offence.

    >’We explained our decision to the family in detail and will continue to assist and support them.’

Seems reasonable. I wouldn’t like to see the expense of a trial with not much hope of a conviction, and then a not guilty verdict.

    >The judge set a sentencing date for December 16, which the victim’s family would be able to join by videolink from Australia.

This is the one to watch. He pleaded guilty.
