Retail sales in Slovenia rose by 0.4% year-on-year in September 2025, following a downwardly revised 0.2% gain in the previous month, as sales accelerated for automotive fuel in specialized stores (7.5% vs 0.8% in August).
In contrast, sales growth slowed for food, beverages, and tobacco (0.4% vs 0.7%), while sales declined for non-food products (-2.1% vs 1.02%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail sales fell by 0.7% in September, following a flat reading in the preceding period.
