Its a ongoing battle to sort packaging from daily items to either Paper or Cardboards. Swiss made products generally mention it clearly but a number of thems , imported from other parts of EU doesn’t, specially some biscuit from UK. π
Anu suggestions from long-time professional swiss sorters?

It says Cartone, so i would assume it’s Karton
Karton is swiss german in german german is Pappe hence PAP
Is this a shitpost? Or do you really not know how to distinguish paper from cardboard.
So technically, PAP had 3 sub categories:
Pap20=corrugated fibreboard (cardboard)
Pap21= non corrugated fibreboard
Pap22=Paper
Not a professional Swiss sorter, but working in that field.
If you search for EU decision (97/129/EC) you can find a list
Itβs says cardboard right thereβ¦
I would throw it with the papier despite the box clearly say tells you need to throw it on the karton pile. Be rebellious
this is clearly carton, search the number in the triangle
it literally says Cartone/cardboard…. and if you googled PAP 20 you would see that it is for cardboard.
itβs writtenβ¦ cardboard/cartone so itβs Karton
