HealthFirst Family Care Center in Fall River is expanding its Behavioral Health services.
The expansion includes increased appointment availability through a team of eight licensed providers offering care for children, teens and adults, according to a community announcement.
“Our Behavioral Health team is the heart of our integrated care model,” Lisa Jones, CEO of HealthFirst Family Care Center, said. “By opening up provider schedules and expanding availability, we’re making it easier for patients to connect with the support they need — whether that’s for anxiety, depression, or simply finding balance during challenging times.”
The Behavioral Health Department provides treatment for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and other emotional or behavioral concerns. Services are integrated with HealthFirst’s medical care, allowing providers to collaborate on personalized treatment plans, according to the announcement.
Dr. Uma Jaladi, chief medical officer, said the expansion is designed to meet growing demand.
“Our Behavioral Health team brings a wealth of experience and genuine compassion to every patient they see,” Jaladi said. “By expanding access, we can better meet the increasing demand for behavioral health care and continue to serve our patients with the excellence and empathy they deserve.”
