I just received a weird text from DHL that seems suspicious as the link doesnt match the usual link they send to pay the swiss tax fee.
Anyone had similar incidents ?
Who do I report this to ?
How can I prevent receiving weird texts under the same tag as the official company ?

Yes of course it’s a scam. I hope you didn’t enter your card details. If you did, call the bank, block the card IMMEDIATELY.

By lobbying politicians to finally ban caller ID spoofing. It’s dead simple on a technical level, it’s allowed for purely expedient reasons.

I did block my card
Although they supposedly can’t use it without me putting my fingerprint on post app
I am quite surprised they manage to send it under the same fold as the official DHL texts…
This should be more regulated
Sadly you cant..you could send the number to the cyber crime site.. but its a dead end

Le tag c’est surement ton téléphone qui fait le lien.
La seule prévention viable c’est de ne jamais faire confiance à un sms à moins d’être sûr de sa source.
Et ne jamais cliquer sur les liens quand il y a un doute!
Il n’y a pas grand chose à faire à part supprimer le sms.

Look at the URL, it is not [dhl.com](http://dhl.com) straight away, it is a domain jsbx, do not think twice, flag it as a spam
On Android there should be a report button somewhere to report it to Google. I have done this once but never heard back. But theoretically they could add a warning on the target site via Chrome.
There is also [https://cybercrimepolice.ch/de](https://cybercrimepolice.ch/de), not sure if they are also interested in such cases. I receive such mails on a daily basis on a public mail adress…

Because the mailüprovider, that is using the address but not your telefonnumber, can find out you number but not your address.

I don’t think it’s a fake. I know it’s a fake. I mean, there’s even a typo in the message. Don’t you think a multi million dollar company would not use templates?
Also, I personally work with messaging tools where you can set the sender name to whatever you want it to be…
The links are usually harmless. They lead to a site where you enter all your personal information, then your credit card data and then get fucked.
