Miners: The Miners White hockey team fell 10-1 Monday to Sky Canyon, who built a 8-0 lead heading into the game’s third period, when Park City responded. Gabriel Lloyd had the Miners White’s lone goal, assisted by Tobin Larkin and Evan Zupo. Park City is set to face Bingham Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Park City Ice Arena.

The Miners girls volleyball season wrapped up Tuesday with a two-set-to-none loss to Snow Canyon in the playoff consolation bracket. Park City fell three sets to none Monday to eventual state champ Desert Hills. The Miners finish the season 18-12, in Head Coach Bethany Byers’ first season. Park City won their fourth-straight regional title in the regular season.

The Miners Black girls flag football team’s season ended with a 28-20 playoff semifinal loss to Timpview on Thursday night. Park City’s underclassmen team had a first-round playoff bye, then defeated Lone Peak 34-0 earlier this week in the quarterfinals. It was the Miners Black and league’s inaugural season, and the team finished 4-4.

The Miners Red girls flag football team’s season ended with a 26-20 overtime loss to Bingham Monday in the first round of the playoffs. The team was Park City’s upperclassmen team. The Miners Red finished their inaugural season 1-6.

Wasatch: The Wasatch girls volleyball team ended their season Wednesday with a two-set-to-none playoff consolation win over Olympus. The Wasps fell earlier Wednesday in the second round of the playoffs three sets to none to eventual semifinalist Pleasant Grove. Wasatch ends their season 18-12. The Wasps finished third in Region 7.

The Wasatch boys cross country team finished second Tuesday in the state meet. The Wasps finished with a team score of 138, 52 points behind champions Maple Mountain. Wasatch was led by Grant Luke, who finished in 10th place in 15:51.51.

North Summit: The North Summit girls volleyball team won the 2A state volleyball title last Saturday. The Braves took down Enterprise in the championship three sets to one. The title is North Summit’s sixth in program history and first since 2021. The Braves closed the season on a 26-game win streak.

The North Summit girls cross country team won the 2A state championship Tuesday at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake City. The title is the Braves’ fifth-straight and 10th in program history. Chayden Sargent and Thea Sargent were North Summit’s highest finishers in third and sixth with times of 19:16.77 and 19:53.20, respectively.
