Black hole caught snacking on star far from host galaxy’s center

Astronomer here! Got quoted in this article and I’m a coauthor on the paper, so AMA I guess!
TL;DR, supermassive black hole shredded a star that got too close, black hole is not at the center of its galaxy like we typically expect, the outflow of material also looks somewhat unusual
Sounds like someone needs to mind their own business
I read that as the Black Hole snacking on “star fat” from the host galaxy…it doesn’t really change the meaning much, I don’t think.
If I understood correctly you can only have 1 supermassive black hole at the center which anchors the rest of the galaxy? If so would this other supermassive black hole eventually cause a sort of ripple where almost 2 galaxies develop from one? Also do we know if this supermassive black hole spins in the same direction as the one at the center?
Thanks!
