Tipping points are environmental events that, once triggered, can no longer be stopped, and they reach the end, like a marble that has gone over the top of a hill and rolls down to the valley. For example, at a certain temperature all permafrost would melt, releasing immense amounts of methane that would add a lot of warming in a short time.

It’s official that we can say goodbye to coral reefs, and with them 1/3 of marine species. From now on they will die without coming back. Go and see them while they’re there.
