  1. >While the dog in this case was registered as an XL bully, it was done so proactively before the ban came into effect.

This is why the ban is meaningless. Because it doesn’t actually ban anything.

The ~~parents~~ dog owners should be in prison, but it doesn’t seem like they have even been arrested.

    There’s a surprise.

Frankly if you let a child near the bloody things you should be charged with neglect. I’ve been a dog trainer for 30 years and there are some breeds that should not be pets

  3. If you own a dog that’s classified under the dangerous dog act then the owner should be charged with the equivalent charge for any act that dog carries out. …..the dog kills, the owner is charged with murder(or manslaughter) ….simple rule.

And ALL ‘dangerous dogs’ must be chipped with the owners details.

  4. In a surprise to no one.

That breed of dog has no place in this country. It needs to be illegal to breed or import them. Every single one of them needs to be neutered and never leave the house without a muzzle.

Fuck anyone who thinks they are a nice breed because they are not.

Well, the parents and the dog’s owners are going to fell “awful” for the whole of their lives.

Or, they’ll try and get fireworks banned.

  6. If you play with fire, be prepared to get burnt.

You would never wish this on anyone but the breed was banned for a reason and anyone who has such a dog needs to be prepared for the fact that it could very easily hurt someone (because that is the entire point of the breed). The family will never get over it and I hope they will at least learn something from this.
