Economic expert: The “Kurti” government has caused 1 billion euros in damage to the Kosovo budget

Medain Hashani, an economic expert, stated to “Front Online” that this Government lacks a clear budget program and at the same time mismanages public funds.

“This Government has shown that it does not have a clear program for budget planning and spending. The lack of budget spending on capital investments has contributed to the lack of a government program and the mismanagement of the budget that they have done through not spending it,” he stated.

According to him, the Kurti Government has caused damage to the budget of around 1 billion euros.

“From the beginning until now, this government has had a stagnation in spending public money because there has been a constant surplus, and if we can measure it over four years, this government has caused about 1 billion euros in damage to the state budget due to its mismanagement,” he said.

He added that the current government is steering the economy towards the extreme left.

“This government has stalled on many major projects such as the Gjilan, Mitrovica, Podujeva highways, which it has not completed as projects and have been going on for almost 5 years. The government, with its influence, is orienting itself towards the extreme left, because if it continues with this trend, we will have state-owned enterprises and the closure of private ones,” said Hashani.
