Boaz had won seven straight games and Peyton Hall did her part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Pirates came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 19-14 W against the Spain Park Jaguars thanks in part to Hall, who rushed for 110 yards and two scores on only eight carries, and also threw for 115 yards on 17 of 25 attempts. She also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles.

Boaz’s defense made their presence known, laying out Abby Whatley five times. Leading the way was Piper Hales with four sacks.

Boaz’s victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Spain Park, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
