North Macedonia’s Prosecutor’s Office: The death of the 24-year-old from Gjakova is being investigated in detail

The State Public Prosecutor’s Office of North Macedonia has provided additional details about the death of 24-year-old Daorsa Spahija from Gjakova in the city of Tetovo.

This prosecutor’s office has stated that they are continuing “in detail all investigations” into the case in question.

“A caretaker prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecution Office in Tetovo conducted an inspection at the site where the lifeless body of a young girl was found, as well as at the rented apartment where she was staying.”

“All actions are being taken to investigate the causes of death, with detailed checks and expertise at the scene, although the initial findings and traces at the scene do not indicate that the death is the result of any criminal offense.”

“However, an autopsy has been ordered, several people will be questioned, while the Prosecutor’s Office and all investigative bodies are working intensively to fully clarify the causes of the incident,” the announcement states.

The 24-year-old is being given her final farewell today at the Gjakova city cemetery./Klankosova.tv
