WVU Athletics announced DAC Energy has purchased $100,000 worth of WVU Men’s Basketball tickets to be “distributed into the communities of West Virginia,” per a release Friday.

The contribution, which created the ‘Community Ticket Initiative,’ allows fans to register for tickets at no cost. Ticketing information for WVU Men’s Basketball’s game against Lehigh University on Sunday, Nov. 9 is available now, and information on other games will be available at a later date.

WVU Director of Athletics Wren Baker thanked Ken and Jennifer Mason, the founders of DAC Energy, for their donation, and said the contribution is beneficial to a “new generation of fans.”

“Ken and Jennifer Mason are lifelong residents of this great state and never hesitate to help make it better for all,” Baker said in the release. “We are very appreciative of this kind gift that has the potential to introduce Mountaineer basketball to an entire new generation of fans.”
