In the period April-June of this year, 2.876 mortgages on real estate were registered, with a total value of 551,5 million euros, according to the report of the Real Estate Cadastre Agency for the second quarter.

In the Skopje Cadastre alone, 1.522 mortgages worth around 289,5 million euros have been registered, while in the 29 other cadastre offices in the country, another 1.354 mortgages worth around 262 million euros have been registered.

Compared to the first quarter of the year, the number of mortgages has increased by 280 cases.

Statistics show an increasing trend in mortgages over recent years:

2024: 8.748 mortgages 2023: 7.844 mortgages 2022: 7.658 mortgages

2021: 8.386 mortgages

Meanwhile, in the price and rent register, 6.135 real estate sales were recorded in the third quarter, which is 580 more compared to the previous quarter.

According to data from the National Bank, housing loans increased by 1,6% on a monthly basis and by 16,1% on an annual basis, while consumer loans increased by 0,9% per month and 10,2% per year. /tv21
