I mean it’s a eurocity, it’s most often like that. For domestic commutes avoid those

The one right after it at :57 only has two men, there is literally no reason to take this specific train unless starting in Milano

Since 1-2 years almost any train on the route of zh/basel/bern etc is most likely to be absolutely packed or close to during peak hours. The day of cozy second class commuting are long gone

Never knew that you could actually see how crowded each section is that’s crazy. You learn something new everyday i guess

  5. Two weeks ago, Sunday evening on my way back from Tessin, dozens of people sitting on the floor in 2nd class, then moved to 1st class only to experience the same. Very “hippie” vibes overall. 2/10 would not recommend.

  6. It’s a train from Italy.

    They are always packed.

When I go to Ticino, I try to get the trains who are driving only to Chiasso/Lugano.

Maybe it will be better next month

Lord I thank you for not spawning me close to the train-jammed jungles of cantonal supercities.
    Amen.

Yep that’s Zurich 😅 and you’ll have a lot of people whith a lot of bags taking the free seat because they’re from the airport 😅

Well people who spent their weekend in Italy, Italians who commuted home, etc.
It’s not a secret that our population growth is a problem for our infrastructure.
