Dude. Before WW2, Poland was a country of nearly 30 million. Today it’s a country of nearly 40 million and most people who were alive back then are dying of old age. Hell, my grandmother was a child when the war started and she died a decade ago.
Vital records newer than 100 years are controlled by Urząd Stanu Cywilnego and you might be able to pull one if you have more details on where your GGF lived or was born. As it is, they are unlikely to give you records if they’re not sure they pertain to the right person.
