Yesterday was fantastic! We finished building and painting the rockets. There was a moment where kids were playing and laughing in background while others finished up painting and I stopped to look around at everything and it was the most euphoric feeling ever. I’m going to do this for the rest of my life.
Launching all 30 rockets next week!
Currently at 60 out of 150 rockets. Indianapolis will have the highest rockets per capita in the world! 🚀
I’m doing this to inspire as many people as I can. I deliberately recruit non-technical volunteers to show them they can do it too, everyone can. I have a long term plan to do this all over America. 🇺🇸
After I reach my 150 milestone in April next year (where I’ll bring everyone back to all launch together) I’m going to scale to 1000.

Fuck yeah, buddy! This is what we need more of!
Love your posts man, keep it up. You can see the passion translate in the smiles alone. Post some vids when they launch!
I love this post, but it did trigger me into an old memory of the time before we included our own faces in almost every picture we took.
Keep up the rocket building, they’re beautiful. Hopefully there is a video of the launch!
Awesome!
As Jack Horkheimer used to say, “Keep looking up!”
Proud of what you’re doing! My dad’s built rockets longer than I’ve been alive. I never really got into it as much but I loved chasing them 😅
Keep up the good work man ❤️
I love it. Is there a link to the building process? I’ll be the hero of Puerto Rico if I can teach these kiddos how to build and launch rockets!
This, and your other workshops and other events, are just plum fantastic. Fostering interest in rocketry and space, my dude, you are awesome. Please do this as long as you can! Thank you for the updates and the pictures 🙂
What an amazing project, congratulations on taking the initiative!
The all black with the yellow tip looks the coolest imo
That is awesome! Took my kid to launch rockets on Saturday. Is a great time. I noticed one of the organizers was supplying the kids with ignitors and such. Can see myself doing that in my retirement.
Awwww man. 30 something years old and I would kill for an opportunity like this! Keep going
Painting your rocket is one of my favorite steps. That’s when you turn the kit into your own creation. What kit is that, by the way? And what motors are you using?
