KUWAIT: Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Minister of Finance, and Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Dr Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem met separately on Monday with the ambassadors of Pakistan and Georgia to Kuwait to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations, with a focus on investment and economic cooperation.
In a press statement, the Ministry of Finance said that during his meeting with Pakistani Ambassador Dr Zafar Iqbal, Minister Al-Mukhaizeem highlighted the longstanding and distinguished relations between the two friendly nations across various fields of mutual interest, particularly in economic and investment sectors, as well as cooperation in health and industry.

The statement added that the meeting with Georgian Ambassador Noshrivan Lomatadze focused on strengthening bilateral relations in the economic, investment, and tourism sectors. The discussions reviewed existing and potential investment opportunities and explored avenues to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The Ministry noted that negotiations on a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint committee for economic cooperation between Kuwait and Georgia were concluded during the meetings, with the signing expected in the near future. – KUNA
