Its pretty long this is a politically biased video, to help fix some of the bias I would say it is important to note that the USA has a similar law known as Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and the EU Foreign Influence Law.
Georgian Dream is very popular and they have been focused progressing toward European Integration while not behaving in a way that provokes conflict with Russia.
Also not really accurate about Abkhazia and Ossetia, those were almost entirely Georgian regions with very very small minorities that were exploited by Russia, to create conflict zones and hold back Nato integration.
It’s a good piece, always surprised by useful commentary on Georgia from anyone who isn’t Georgian or a Georgia specialist.
I think it makes too much of the Caspian Sea pipelines as motive to invade, while they are strategically important Russia has massive oversupply and can’t sell its gas now. Putin might get some satisfaction from thwarting European energy needs and maybe sales would tick up briefly from removing that route but the EU would then be all the more focused on taking Russian supplies down to zero and quickly in that scenario. On the most part I think it’s accurate though and I’m also worried about invasion / peacekeepers around this election.
