  1. >’BBC Bias’ Memo Was Authored by Lobbyist Tied to Pro-Trump Tech Giants

Yeah… Sorry I thought that was obvious

  2. The BBC employs David Grosman and he wrote the review as part of his job

The BBC hired Michael Prescott was hired as an independent reviewer and he based the memo on Zavids work.

    Byline times is such shite

  3. What’s with all these articles trying to discredit the memo by discrediting the man behind it?

The assertions were not made in a vacuum, even the more dubious ones he provided some evidence for and as such the whole thing can be challenged properly if people are that determined to criticise it.

Attacking a person’s character rather than their arguments is fallacious; even a broken clock is right twice and a terrible person can do the right thing for the wrong reason.

The oligarchs want the game all to themselves, leaving the public exactly where they want them.

The bbc have fucked this. The right will hammer them with everything they have . The Americans will jump on with the law suits which he has basically won. He has admitted in public basically they did it.

Even Boris Johnson who is popular among people who actually pay it and said to not pay.

  6. Yeah, sure… *”pro Trump tech giants”*, that’s who it is… In fact, there are a lot of people in the BBC who were party to the take down of Corbyn who didn’t think the leopard would eat *their* face.

  7. This is just one of those situations where both sides are shitty; the far right are shitty because they’re the far right but the BBC and Panorama are also shitty because they felt the need to artificially make Trump look awful, even though looking awful is the only thing that Trump is good at, he didn’t need the help to look like a piece of shit.

  8. This is all a shit-show. Whichever random journalist/producer OK’d the edit needs firing. They have potentially fucked the BBC.

Trump is an arsehole and didn’t need a dodgy edit to show it. All this does is give the far-right ammunition to never trust the BBC again.

The right complain the BBC are liberal leftists.

At the same time, the left complain the BBC are right wing apologists.

Usually this means the BBC are trying very hard to find something approaching objective middle ground. As has been said before, if they are annoying all sides of their political spectrum then they probably are getting it about right.

But will they get it right all the time? No, of course not. For all their faults, however, (and they do have them) for the most part I would still take their content over pretty much any other outlet.
