Hi! I am a Chinese who lives near a polish neighborhood. Today I accidentally went to a Polish supermarket and the snack is amazing. The Polish supermarket has everything, including Polish butcher’s shop and snacks and I am so eager to try it out.
I have only been to Krakow before so I don’t have a lot of idea about Polish food& snack. Do you have any recommendations on what I should try first?

    1. I was told there was a huge controversy recently with the contents of Tarczynski, is that correct? I saw that they were on massive sale here in sweden, and when i told my grandma it was loaded in the store for a promotion she told me that they litereally couldnt be sold in poland right now, they gave it away in stores at some point to get rid of them due to some controversy about the contents?

Or was that another brand? D: I would imagine it was earlier this year maybe around spring or winter time?

I would say that tarczynski is bad (it used to taste much better, but enshitification came hard), but with good advertisment. Duda is much better, especially bacon, try this one.

Dr gerard sweet and salty snacks are nice.

Sorry to hijack on a comment like this but my mom is from Poland and she went to visit our family last year and brought back these goose kabanosy from a convenience store. I don’t remember the brand but is there any way for me to get these goose kabanosy shipped to the US? They were so good!

    4. Zapiekanka is like little but long pizza, has a lot of mushrooms and cheese (I’m hungry now…)

      Krówki are very sweet candies.

    5. **Sweets:**
prince polo, krówki, plums in chocolate, delicje, ptasie mleczko, “draże korsarze”, also bars of chocolate from Poland may be good, muesli bars (check banana flavour and cranberry with orange peel, the cheaper the better)
      **snacks:**
      paluszki (Pretzel sticks)
